1. Moisture Vapor Barrier (MVB) Primer
The first step in our process was applying a moisture vapor barrier primer. This essential layer prevents moisture from seeping up through the concrete slab, which can cause damage to the flooring. Ensuring a dry and stable base is crucial for the longevity and performance of the court.
2. 100% Epoxy Solids with Metallic Color
Next, we applied 100% epoxy solids with a stunning metallic color. Epoxy is a durable and long-lasting flooring material that provides a seamless and attractive surface. The metallic color added a unique aesthetic element, giving the court a sleek, modern look.
3. Epoxy Flood Coat
To achieve a perfectly smooth surface, we used an epoxy flood coat. This step involves pouring a thick layer of epoxy over the entire floor, allowing it to self-level and create an even, glossy finish. The result is a flawless playing surface that enhances the overall appearance of the court.
4. Three Coats of Matte Urethane
