Southeast Flooring Solutions: 2024 Year in Review

December 31, 2024 · By Michael Bierfreund, Owner, Southeast Flooring Solutions · 4 min read

As we close out 2024, we want to look back at a year of growth and a lot of concrete. We are proud of the work our crews put in across Chapel Hill, TN and the surrounding communities.

Expanding what we offer

We continued to broaden our service mix this year. Patio resurfacing, concrete surface repair, pool pads, and driveway work all grew, helping homeowners and businesses get more out of their outdoor spaces. Epoxy flooring installations remained a large part of our work, both in homes and in commercial buildings.

Projects that stood out

  • Patio resurfacing. Multiple worn, stained patios were resurfaced into clean, modern outdoor spaces that families can actually use.
  • Concrete repair. Salt and winter damage was repaired and resurfaced rather than torn out, including a large exterior pad restored to a clean, uniform finish.
  • Decorative overlays. Wood-aesthetic and stone overlays continued to be our most-requested decorative finish for porches and patios.
  • Shop and commercial epoxy. Work spaces got floors that clean up easily and stand up to daily abuse.

What we are carrying into next year

The same thing that got us here: thorough surface preparation, honest assessment of what a slab needs, and finishing work we are willing to put our name on. Thank you to every customer who trusted us with their project this year.
