Epoxy is popular in shops for a reason: it is durable, chemical resistant, and it cleans up. This project is a good illustration of all three.
The space
Our client — an avid outdoorsman running a taxidermy operation — needed his workspace floor upgraded. A shop like that sees water, chemicals, tools, and constant traffic. Bare concrete absorbs all of it and never really looks clean again.
Why epoxy fits a working shop
- Durability. High-build epoxy takes impact and abrasion that would chew up bare concrete.
- Chemical resistance. Spills sit on the surface instead of soaking into the slab.
- Cleanability. A seamless surface can be swept, mopped, or hosed depending on the space.
- Light. A bright, reflective floor makes a shop noticeably easier to work in.
The result
After surface preparation and installation, the shop went from a dull, porous slab to a finished, sealed work surface. Our client was happy enough with the outcome to say so publicly in an online review — which is the review we care most about.
If your shop, garage bay, or work area is overdue, get in touch and we will look at the slab.
